Everpure Biodiesel Co-op receives conservation award

Credit Valley Conservation has presented 19 awards in three different categories at the annual Friends of the Credit Conservation Awards held at Meadowvale Community Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario. Of the 19 recipients, Everpure Biodiesel Co-operative of Erin, Ontario, received a Certification of Merit award for creating Ontario’s first farmer-based biodiesel co-op generating clean, renewable and locally produced fuel. Awards were presented to individuals, landowners, community groups, small business, corporations, municipalities and agencies that have made a significant contribution to managing natural resources and ensuring long-term environmental health in the Credit Valley Watershed.
